Okay I'll admit it, I bought the Samsung BD-C6500 only because I read all the hype about it and just couldn't help but wonder if it was that good. Of course, I didn't really think it was going to be, but I would like to say that I stand completely corrected. Within the first hour I had Samsung BD-C6500 hooked up to my home theater system, connected to my wi-fi network, updated the firmware over the internet, connected to Netflix and Pandora. In regards to picture quality, I've tested a few DVDs and the picture quality seems first class. With the right firmware updates, Samsung BD-C6500 has one of the fastest loading times that I have seen. This player looks sleek and cool, without being too complicated with lots of useless buttons.
The Samsung BD-C6500 offers Internet TV straight to my HDTV, with downloadable widgets and apps like Blockbuster, YouTube, Twitter, Flickr, and others. You can shop online, share pictures, and connect to a wide range of streaming digital content very easily. I really like the fact that I can rent or buy movies to watch right away on my Blu-ray player.
Overall I am very pleased with BD-C6500 and hope Samsung will be able to add a few more features in the future. I highly recommend BD-C6500 as it is compatible with newer Samsung products and the quality of sound and picture are excellent. No surprise it's a bestseller on Amazon (click to see).
